Greetings, Anvil Society, I am Serc Repsac. I specialize in economic ventures and have had a great deal of experience with such pursuits.

I formerly played Eve Online where I was a Hauler for a couple of weeks and after making 20Million isk in my flying tub I proceeded to create a corporation called Rancorchu Corp. However, the corporation was fraught with logistical problems and top-manager conflicts. The Corporation went silent after 2 months upon which I received another 20million isk in the form of corporate profits. For a further few months I did independent trade on the open market where I boosted my cash reserves to well over 100million isk.

I was also a part of SWG where I had a great deal of success in the harvesting and whole-sale of high quality minerals with some emphasis on crafting.

I do have some interest in Vanguard, however, I do not know whether I want to jump into the game because of it being co-published by Sony. After Sony ruined SWG I do not feel very enthused about any game from Sony.

I have done some consulting for the Underworld Assailants by helping in the writing of their charter and may do some additional consulting at a later date.

Perhaps, I will have the opportunity to help boost your Society by offering my knowledge and experience to the table.

Serc,

Good to meet you. As for Sony, I will not lie, they rushed Vanguard out far too early. Lots of post-release bugs, and I mean LOTS. Its also unfortunately a game all about that level number next to your name, and the rarity of your equipment. However, we are taking it in stride. We have a great army of of Commoners, Drunkards, Thanes, and some pesky humans too! The game also has some good potential hidden away underneath the towering piles of features "not working as intended". The world is huge, and for the type of game that it is, Vanguard is the best in its class. If you are looking for a virtual world to play in, Vanguard's Telon is a good place to start. We are all anxiously awaiting niggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggernigger here, but for the sake of flexing our muscles and having some fun together as a guild, we're here on Vanguard's server: Varking (Team PvP).

Cheers,
Brilliant Jewelhammer

Hello, do you think you can send/post some Screenshots of the game including shots of the trade windows, crafting windows and so forth. I would just like to see how the more economic portions of the game are handled or at least shown. It will help me decide on whether or not I shall actually jump into the game or not.

EDIT: I am actually just heading out the door to sit and sleep in my class. I will probably be on in a few minutes with my laptop.

How about niggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggernigger? Will you still be with us when we change the game you are you just going to play Vanguard with us until we move on to something else?

niggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggernigger is supposed to be a game heavy with both fighting and politics, a well experienced and skilled trades- and craftsman would sure be great to have in our society, most of us are more the fighting types I assume.

I actually have to start getting ready for class myself, as well!

I've been a horrible dwarf and neglected my crafting, but when I get back I will take a few screenshots of my basic crafting menu (I still haven't finished the tutorial, embarrassedly enough), unless one of the guys can post first. Surly has the highest crafting in the guild so far, and he is a blacksmith, but Sony locked him out of the game until he jumps through some more hoops with their registration process. Damieon I know has been working up his smithing as well, he might be able to post some pictures. We make a lot of emphasis on crafting, but so far in Vanguard we have been putting most of our effort into leveling up (yuck, levels!). I harvest resources and just pass them on to the other guildies for now.

niggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggernigger, especially if its 1-character-per-server, I think will be the most exciting game to be a crafter in yet. And dwarves will have racial advantages in crafting as well! Consider Vanguard more like training as a guild for niggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggernigger. Garn, I think since he is so big on crafting and merchanting, he would be crazy not to come with us to niggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggernigger, which promises an incredibly open-ended crafting system, where every piece of equipment in the game world is craftable, and nothing is binded to you, so people are always in demand of your services!

I haven't decided completely how things will work out and I cannot say what the future may hold in terms of my being in the Society when niggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggernigger comes out. If I happened to find it to be more beneficial for me to fly solo then I will do so. However, even if I did fly solo I would enjoy a continued relationship with the Society, in that I can provide resources and crafts for your members as an outsider. Again, only the future can say what will occur at a later date.

Dude, if you're in to economics niggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggernigger is a given choice, it's basically EVE but on a flat world with more and better fighting. The Anvil is one of the few pre-game clans planning success thanks to a large production. The full item drop and FFA PvP combined with weapons that vanish due to durability will ensure a quick steady flow of equipment.

I am most certainly going to be playing niggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggernigger I've been watching the game development for a long time and I am really looking forward to it's beta/release. What I would really like to see from the Developers is some more information regarding how the economy will work, caravans will be handled, npc hireling control and other Craftsmen/Trader concerns.

Nope, I used the color because it seemed appropriate for the color scheme of the forum and I don't see anyone else use it.

In response to a previous post, I most certainly do not shit on the Society and am personally offended by Garn making such an accusation/assumption.

I ask his majesty to shut the fuck up.

Oh, and sorry if you felt offended, Serc, I didn't expect you to take my comment in any way serious. I don't want to piss off any newcomers. That's reservered for senior members. :grrr:

No you looked like an attention whore. Everyone does.

Except shiny white which makes you look like a roleplayer who values his own opinion too much.
