Dungeon Run: DECEIT

tonight at 10pm est i will begin a dungeon run for deceit.

things to bring: armor, regs, decent weps (bonus for silver) your A game.

goal: to complete dungeon deceit from top to bottom and hold the lich lord room for as long as possible. this is a high risk danger zone which is good. our final objective for the night is to find some sort of conflict. this could be a nasty one. 772

If anyone doesn't know what he's referring to:

"Hiding in the Lich Lord room. Most people know about the era-accurate line-of-sight bug in the Lich Lord room on that platform. In short, one's Line of Sight is broken by every tile on there. So typically, if I was say 2 tiles away from you, I could target an Energy Bolt at you. On this platform, I cannot. Additionally, if you are a GM hider, you must be at least 8 tiles from an aggressor to be able to hide. In the Lich Lord room, that's now 1 tile. It's hard as heck to kill someone on that shelf; if you're a GM hider who understands how it works up there, it's nearly impossible to die."

if you have provoke you're always useful. if you have 50 magery you are also useful but bring greater heal regs.

any newbs can safely exit before we take control on the LL room (the rest of the dungeon is relatively safe)

oh i was here at 3 last night, shame i didnt read the forums.

dungeon deceit run was a success!

the early squad consisted of motavia,kietharr,thatcher,red,brilliant, and myself.

towards the bottom floor we had a small run-in with some PKs. with our help a couple anti's managed to wipe them. we held the LL room for about 30-45 mins before we got kinda bored.

we gated back to bank with no casualties and took a short break.

while banking we had a run-in with the local police detectives on duty.

then we decided to hit up destard. we only held destard for about 10 mins before a band of like 6 red showed up. i sacraficed myself as a distraction and our moneymen all made it out ok.

(no screenshot of this either it was pretty tense)


next we decided to try and hold ophidian temple. motavia and brilliant brought their bards, while mantoe red and myself played escort muscle. this actually went very well and lots of money was made.
