Lumberjacking - I assume this does not affect axe damage in combat?
Poisoned weapons - anyone can use one, but they can only be re-poisoned by someone with the poisoning skill right?
I need somewhere to macro a dexer - anyone got a house or something I can get friended at?
Where can I buy bandages and weapons and regs in bulk?

No bonus from Lumberjacking.
Yes, poisoned by poison skill anyone can use. See Monte or Moose.
The clan house should be available to you if you get into the clan.
Monte about the weapons, not sure about bandaids or regs.

Bandaids sell for like 3.5g a piece, better off cutting them yourself.

Right so where do I find this clan house then?
Not having a mic on this crappy laptop really sucks.

Not without one of your random video clips it isn't.
Also, you gonna help me get myself ready to macro some skills now that I've been forced to play this game?

First get your hearding face on to 100 str (moonglow is good for this), then snoop your way to 100 dex, next grab your practice weapon of your desired weapon skill and hire a paladin from del in lost lands to spar with.
If I were you I'd get 50 healing and 50 resist to start. You can use anatomy on the pally to gain while sparing/healing.
To get bandages just use the cotton field in del or sheep nearby, I'm sure your well aware of that shit though.
Look forward to seeing you tbh.

Yeah no worries, technique isn't a problem.
I was looking to get access to a house for some safe unattended macroing and to find where to buy cheap regs, bandies and stuff.
Don't really need any freebies though as someone at brit bank gave me 5k gold which is fine to get myself started.
EDIT: just noticed my bard now has gm music and 80 provo so once I can get hold of some marked runes, I'm actually good to go cashflow wise.

The guild house is an L-shaped about 1 screen S of the Brit Hedge Maze.

OK I found the guild house.
Actually, I do need something: I need to know where to buy a full spell book.
I've got about 2k gold.

Word on the street is they cost about 5k. I think I heard the Nazis ($$$) sell them from their vendor tent outside their keep in the SW corner of Moonglow's island.
If you're in game now I can spot you 3k. Bout to go to bed though.

I think there are player vendors about moongates that will sell them.

I was wrong about the $$$ tent, no spellbooks there that I could see.

Well thanks for trying. I'll be hanging around the guild house doing peacemaking.
Feel free to friend my bard.

Peacemaking is useless on this server.

Peacemaking is useless on this server.
Why?
Also, since there are no faction vendors, am I right in assuming that the regs I see on player vendors were purchased from mage shops and are being sold on after being marked up a bit?
i.e. I'm not going to see regs for sale cheaper than those in shops in the cities?

Yea you are right about the regs, there should be spell books in the $$$ tent next to the rune libary... That's where I got mine.

Mr Motavia gave me some monies to help buy a spell book so all is good.
Unfortunately, I hadn't counted on lack of faction vendors, so reg prices are higher than i had expected.
Gonna take a little while to train magery up before the bard doesn't get pwned in dungeons by mongobats.
EDIT: also wtf are horses? I can't recall seeing any tameable mounts anywhere.

I told you... T2A. I believe your response was "/effort" or something similar.
