theres gotta be another explanation. are you positive the book was locked down? items inside houses will not decay whether locked down or not. so your sure you didnt forget to lock it?

yea, it's been locked down in the same place since i put the house down. big pain in the ass to replace it.

theres 2 possibilities

you have a co-owner who unlocked it, or it was never locked down.

taking or destroying a book locked down is impossible, if possible would be a huge exploit and i'd think they'd use it on something more profitable than a single runebook with custom marks in it.

i'd do some double checking before replacing it.

i guess. i don't recall off my book (i add scrolls to it and just keep it semi-full), so it wouldn't have been last target, and i don't rearrange things in my house (locking and unlocking things).

i was really wondering if there were any known exploits for this, but now i have no idea.
