How do I actually play this game so as to enjoy it? I made a character on T2A and what to receive your guidance. I will be your padawan if you would accept my oath of learning.

UO is experienced through a series of double clicks. everything in the entire game will be accessed through 1: double left clicks 2: single left clicks 3: word commands

then you make him in character creator.

spawn, point your dinger in a direction and go there.


if you find something/learn something on your own or through trial and error it will stick in your memory bank much stronger than if i explain everything to you.

join the vent channel and just talk about UO. join up with some other clannies and do something newb. your actions dont always have to be 100% efficient or even wise in the slightest, as long as you're having fun. anything you fuck up/lose i can cover if neccesary.

log into UOAM and ask on vent how to "Link". this will ensure you will never be completely lost.

some common things to set macros for:

F1: Last Object
Alt-F1: Last Target
F2: Recall
F3: Hide
F4: Last Object, Delay 100, Last Target

very useful to have that shit set. almost any character in the game can use those 5 macros more than once in their progression.
