The M16 was my favorite in MW1. The M16 in 2 is a bastard, a thin veneer of former M16 excellence on its mutant stepchild. The ACR is the real spiritual successor.

I like the TAR's damage but it doesn't stay on target well enough. You kind of have to re-calibrate if you don't drop him immediately or if you want to hit a second target.

its a headshot machine in normal and an instakill with high rof in hardcore. hardcore being the only thing you play anyway.

At any kind of range after you aim you have to take stock and re-aim instead of just holding down the trigger and moving through targets like you can with the ACR.
