So, we're continuing on, still have good activity, starting to get people into their ass frigs, production guys are trucking along, I'd say we're doing pretty good.
Alliances:
No final decisions have been made here, but we have a ton of options. Right now, if we can get to 50 members, I'd like to apply to the Initiative. If we don't have the activity or 50 members, I think us joining UNEW might be a good step into 0.0. There are many advantages, and a couple big hang-ups.
Among the advantages are free shit, and lots of it. They also have great logistics into 0.0, including jump freighters and an ordering system. The disadvantage of joining UNEW would be that we'd lose our name. I'd keep Fiat Sophia in S0TA so that it'd be in reserve in case we wanted to pull out, but this is a fairly large hit to some people.
If we joined as S0TA, then we'd still get the logistics and probably a lot of free shit, but the road would definitely be more rough and rugged. This would require more effort/activity from the membership.
If you have any other routes to take, let me know. If you'd like me to look into other alliances/corporations, that works too.
Production:
Matriel is doing semi-secretive jew deals and becoming self sufficient. Riddle is busy producing modules/ships for us, so don't be afraid to lose your ship! It's a hit to pride, but you learn, so go get your frigates blown up and learn how to take them down next time.
We are also trying several ventures to see how they work, and might officially adopt one. Namely is Zieen's Google Wave organization, so if you can participate in that, I see some advantages to it.
Character Progression:
We've still got several people that are a 7-10 days away from their ass frigs. We also have several people with ass frigs.
If you have the skills for one: either buy an ass frig and have it outfitted, started on either your tier 2 learning skills (getting them to 4), or get started on your modules. Both work, but in the long run, the tier 2 learning skills will be more beneficial. If you don't have the money for an ass frig, let me know, we have an aid program.
If you don't have the skills for one: make sure you get one soon by efficiently , you're not going to want to be stuck in 0.0 without at least an assault frig. That's gonna suck for you.
WAR WERE DECLARED:
We war dec'd some fags and they are moving strategic cruisers and faction frigates into torrinos. Some things to keep in mind:
Always assume that there are war targets wherever you are warping to. If you don't already assume that, you'll soon learn to.
Run in groups. There is safety in numbers, and several frigates can be surprising when it comes to blowing up big ships.
Research Cocer's EW thread, learn what you can do to take part in that.
GET YOUR SHIT BLOWN UP. You might as well get used to this.

So if you're one of these people logging in once every 2-3 days to update trains, then you might want to start thinking about actually getting into some action.
