FRIG TOURNAMENT (für alles)!

SO what is the funniest thing about eve? Of course the frigate tournaments!

Date and time: December 28, which is on MONDAY! Time will be at noon CST (which is GMT 1700) If too few can come, date and time can change.

Rules:


Only T1 frigs allowed with T1 vanilla modules, which means no variations, no t2, no faction (goes for ammo aswell).



Will take place in Torrinos at a safespot, the battleground will be a 50km radius sphere - a cargo container will mark the center along with me as a judge, anybody who gets more than 50km from it will automaticly be disqualified and killed. Same goes if you warp out.



In case of a stalled fight (nobody can kill the other) the battleground will shrink at judges discretion. If it is still a draw, I will smartbomb both until one is dead.



No podding allowed.



No fucking cloaks.


-Alternative 1 (more players)

Bracket tournament, starting pairs will be randomized.

Combatants start 15km from each other.

-Alternative 2 (fewer players)

Battleground is extended to 100km radius, everybody will enter a free-for-all game where the last man standing is the winner.

Combatants warp in at a range they choose from a direction they choose.




PRICE FOR THE WINNER (will be paid by trafficking atnas mum):

Noob! Fitting is more important than SP, and player skill is more important than all of it...
If you have more SP then you will be able to have more equipment due to the cap and cpu gains and you will do more damage and have more health, shields, speed, accuracy and a better rate of fire and target acquisition time.

People with low SP will be limited to what they can fit due to the cap constraints so most people of a lower skill will probabaly roll out in the same fittings.

As for "player skill" i think you are confusing it with "having a pulse".

Sure the SP matters a great deal, but having a fighting tactic and knowing what to fit CAN outperform higher SP. The powergrid difference is probably just 10-15%, what will matter more is the gunnery/tanking skills... I agree 1v1 could be yawn but free for all will probably be hilarious :D I'm up for 3v3 if we get enough players!

Why I say player skill > all that is because the decision u have to make before most fights is wether to fight or not, and if you lack that option that is in 90% of all cases due to lack of player skill...
