meh, it's not been ruled out. I was talking to several alliances last night. Maru CEOs voted to condense all of the corps into one single corporation. Not a big fan of that. so I decided to open the door up a little.

no. actually, they specifically say if you pay for membership in the alliance, it's a scam. however, i have yet to decide whether i think any offer from goonswarm is a scam, regardless of payment.

goonfleet and goonswarm are different. goonfleet is the actual corp, goonswarm is the alliance. i do not believe you need an SA account to be in goonswarm.

we're eventually going to make a bitch of a move from one end of the map to somewhere into lo sec. torrinos --> x-7 seems fine and all, but with Maru pulling up into one corp kind of throws a wrench into my plan. we gotta figure something out.

moving's not an issue, I'll just get contracts from a hauling company to move shit for us.

of all the alliances out there, GS seems to be both the most interesting and the least likely of all to happen. we're definitely not going "to the ass end of delve" within the next 6 months to a year.

He also is high up in the goons, so talk to him of you really thinking of joining. He will give you the real lowdown on them.

there are other options, but I'm honestly not sure. I like the guys over at the Initiative, and I like the guys in Maru Ka'ge, we would just lose our corporation if we joined MK. (The Initiative and Maru Ka'ge are seperate, but they have both said that we could join up if we wanted).

they are much, much smaller, but I haven't really decided on "better" yet.

Possibly why MK is planning to merge? No idea if that would be a reason to do so.

MK would actually be on the benefitting side of this patch. they were trying to steal systems from PL/Council/TCF/MH last I checked.

unless mk can field cap fleets they will never get anywhere because the second they start to get systems that matter the nc will just get together and spend a couple nights stomping everything. they are pretty terrible at pvp but large cap fights arent pvp just a stupid lagfest.
