Is this true and if so how much potential does EVE have in pissing people off?

You can get in a shitty frigate and blow up something worth hundreds of time more than what you are flying. Sometimes that thing you have blown up is the culmination of a single person's effort for a few months.
I believe that should answer your question.

It may take a bit in the beginning to train certain things that are vital to actually getting to blow shit up, but its worth it. It takes a bit of time to understand what you are doing and why you are doing it.

I just remembered a classic griefing strategy. You jettison something worthless and label it "Free" or something to that effect. When someone comes along and takes it, you blow their ass to kingdom come.

Speaking of which, how do I go about getting moneys to stick to your training plan? When I'm online I do missions and have been pretty self-sufficient.
I don't have enough isk to buy eidetic memory and beyond, however.

i have all the tier 2 learning books to hand out.
i also now have a battleship sitting in the bottom station of torrinos geared out for helping with large missions/operations if we need it. it's pve fit though. i'll pvp fit it for fucking with high scale mission runners tonight/tomorrow.
don't buy the tier 2 books with it, but hopefully you have access to the corp wallet. i stuck around 10 mil in there for petty cash to use for buying mods/ships that you need and AREN'T in the petty cash corp hangar.

Due to my little windfall I have been able to get all the skill books myself so I am all good on that front. I also bought some implants to shave some time of my training, I know I will lose them sooner or later but if I help shaves a few days off my training time it's money well spent.

COME PLAY EVE FAGGOT isn't exactly convincing.
I've just got finished installing Windows 7 and some other bits and pieces. I will be able to play EVE later on this evening for an hour or so.
