Eve progress

Apparently everyone that considered signing up did. We've got around 10-12 folks in game actively now.

I think I've got those that need help caught up to where I can get them now. This should include: a skill plan in EveMon, tier 1 learning skills (5 of them), and a ship + modules to get you started. If you haven't gotten any of this and would like to, then let me know, and I'll work it out tomorrow when I get home.

To ease the "month of puberty," if you don't think you'll make it through with just straight 2 weeks of learning skills training, then interject a few short skills in there. These include frigate to level 3, shield/armor management/upgrades to level 2, weapon skills that you have to level 2-3, engineering/electronics/mechanic to level 2 or 3... a couple others that allow you to do missions, run around a little easier.

They only take 2-3 hours each (frigate 3 is probably the most legit one there and takes 8 hours, though), and won't set you back too far. The best idea is just to play an hour a day and keep your learning queue full.

As far as a corporation, I'll set this up tomorrow. I've got the person that's good to go in terms of leadership/corp management skills that will allow enough members + members of different races.

I've got a buddy setting us up with killboards + API management tools on www.evesota.com. Right now all you'll see on that site is just something funny that he put up. Check it out (DNS might be a little behind in some areas).

Most people are in torrinos. The market is pretty good out here, and we'll start moving shit into the area for sale/handing out. We'll have corp hangers with shit that we need as well in it (a "petty cash" type thing for equipment/ships) set up tomorrow as well in torrinos.

This is also a good place for those that wish to mine/make items to do that. They'll be able to sell for a pretty good markup.

sure. would you like to go mining, production, or research? i've got a pretty solid start on a miner (about 45 days into it). if you'd get a hauler/production guy, it'd go well.

i was going to eventually do both mining and production, but it's too much skill training time. production/research works, but you're going to hurt for some trading skills at the beginning (or one of them will be lacking).

i have several BPOs and a considerable stack of ore that will be helpful to our new caldari/amarr pilots and have been making a bunch of ships, ammo, and turrets, but you're more than welcome to take that off my hands.

people rag on it, but mining/production/trading is really a pretty fun part of eve. glad to see someone that's up for it. perhaps this will be what you were looking for in niggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggernigger? :)

you should've gotten a little popup saying "would you like to come back to this when you log on next time?" unless you just quit the game. if you left the tutorial going, then it's still there.
