First of all, sup. Been away from playing games for a while(RL issues and military life). I have recently refused to play Warhammer online european version any longer as they refuse to fix the issues with my runepriest. I am bored and am willing to potentially waste 40 euros to buy this game. Gimme some reasons not to please before I put in my credit card info.

PS. You are all still niggers. And by the way, whoever said homo's can't build bridges...to you i say Fuck you. We can't build bridges perhaps, but we a run a nice train.:fuck you:

I'm mostly into the crafting aspect of these types of games anyway unless i can heal.I dont have good twitch skillz....(hate FPS) Ask Uzik..I was utterly useless in the skirmishes during niggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggernigger. But I gave away alot of mats and armor to the guild. How is the crafting? I need something to do as I pop sleeping pills and drink myself to sleep each night.

well, as long as you're drunk and high while "playing" the game it might be fun.

it's still too early of a beta to get it with any expectation of playing. the characters are subject to wipes, features are being added, changed, removed, and replaced all the time. think of it as taking part in a development cycle rather than what you'd normally think of as "beta testing".

however, if you're keen on developers listening to your ideas and putting them in the game, you certainly get that....

just don't expect to buy it and play it as your primary MMO. there's not exactly a lot to do in it to occupy yourself.

Ok Surly...I'll keep your comments in mind. I just know that while MO may not be THE game for me to play. I know for sure that WoW,WAR,AoC,FFXI,Aion are not the kind of games I'm going to enjoy. In my VERY humble opinion, none of those games have compared to my experience playing Everquest 1 on my shitty pc and Ultima Online. ITs going to take a niggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggernigger/Mortal online type of game to keep me interested.I just hope MO is the one. I think im going to put myself out there and be expecting to take one on the chin if I don't like it, but I read some reviews since the NDA has been lifted, and I really want to play around with the game.

So, Im downloading the beta client right now, will probably buy the game tomorrow when im off work, and get in and see whats up. I'm not currently playing any MMO's...so I'm sure this can fix some of my overabundance of free time atm.

just don't expect much, you can't really "play" the game right now. it's not done. or even close to it.

i like the game's foundation, don't get me wrong, but if you're downloading it with the intention of playing it you're going to be sorely disappointed. it's not a game yet, it's a test model with a bunch of random test systems in it. seriously.

I wouldn't suck into the hype and pre-order it just yet. I didn't do that with niggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggernigger neither and I'm glad.

But if you have a friend who is stupid enough, rich enough or just bored enough to play it then try it over there.

I've heard about sick shit like birds falling of the sky, which would be awesome if it came with a flesheating virus and zombies, but it doesn't.
But compared to niggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggernigger it is moving on far more smoothly and seems to have at least a tiny bit more potential.

If wish MO had some kind of affiliate program. I would have made a few hundred of you suckers buying it.

Mortal is a WORKING BETA. They are introducing new things, testing all their systems and trying to balance/fix shit.

If you enjoy contributing to a beta game, there is plenty to do in Mortal. The community/devs are very active, and will respond quickly to bug/balance issues.

I'm not sure if crafting is still a placeholder, but it is EXTREMELY in depth. There are like 50 different materials with unique properties (density, mass, hardness, sharpness etc.) and depending on how you make armor/weapons, it will be different (i.e. a gold sword will be really heavy and not do much damage)

I still have high hopes for the game and support giving them money, but don't expect a PLAYING BETA. It isn't a preview type deal.

P.S: They have full frontal and if you kill someone you can kick their body around and the tip of their penis will extend slightly out of their foreskin if you bend the corpse just right.

Things being right and things being balanced are two very different things.

Perhaps the main problem is it's just impossible to dodge them due to lag.

Apparently the cause of most of the lag is due to them monitoring and recording ALL activity on the servers. This is the reason the servers crashed so much before around beta A when everyone was spamming gathering. I would like them to remove it in the last patch before release though, just to see if the game is playable.

Other than that: This patch was horrible when it came to lag. More so than usual. I haven't heard anything about the matter, other than that there's a new patch that'll be up soon (this or next week). It will hopefully fix many problems with lag and also remove most placeholders.

Ideally or realistically?

Ideally probably about 6 months. Although it's hard to tell because I think they have a lot of finished or very nearly finished features that they just don't want to put in beta yet.

I get the impression they are running out of money though so it will probably be a couple of months.

I think it will be a lot more interesting once they add some mini games and secondary skills.

You're opinion doesn't count anyway because you are actually playing niggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggernigger; which by your logic still needs over 6 months of development to even be considered a good release game.

No way is it less than half done. Just being able to have it at a stage were other people can log in and use it requires a lot of work.

In game feature wise it's less than half done but then it becomes hard to tell what is done. what are the minimum features an mmo like this has to release with to be considered done?

If logging in was considered 60% of a completed game.... I don't want to play that game. Wasn't aware that it was a core gameplay feature. That should be mooore like 10% of the development.

half of their development is done for sure, most of the shit in the game is third party. like the engine, and the landscape. at their current rate of progression (very slow from what i've seen) it's at least 2 years off of being a good game. it'd be playable in 6 months, fun in a year, and good in two years based on what i've seen.

Same, but I'll never be really interested in a game made for massive amounts of people at once that doesn't have massive amount of people playing it actively.

Tho I don't believe that these devs will be as retarded as the niggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggernigger set, but that still leaves a lot of room for fuckedom to settle in. You may well be on the rebound (bounce?) from DF, therefore prejudiced so much so that any other game would look favourable right now.

Pretty much everyone in the game hangs out in that one city with the niggerniggerniggerniggernigger spire tower outside, I forget the name of it. Fabernum or something. I have no idea how to find it from outside the world, though. The easiest way to get there is to continually roll a new character until it shits you out right in front of a giant tower.

Every beta I've ever played in has made the claim "we have heavy debugging going on, that's why it's laggy".

However, I don't recall any saying "ok, we just turned it off, is it better now". Instead it just seems to improve over time, probably because they fixed it.

I dont get much lag at all anymore, when crossing certain "mini zones "IE leaving town, there is a slight slow down graphic that occurs, but it clears in less than a second.
