DF Resubs

Ive just recently been reading DF forums again little by little. Seems like a surge of people are resubing soon after an October expansion. Has anyone been following patch notes or are we all 100% done with DF no matter what is expanded / changed? I guess they fixt a bunch of shit, I havnt given DF a thought since the mass exodus, just assumed it died a slow death.

i wouldn't say "no matter what they do" theoretically, but i have no faith whatsoever in niggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggernigger ever being a good game. they'd have to do a lot to convince me to play that again, and they're too arrogant, lazy, and greek to do that. besides, the game is fundamentally flawed on so many levels it still needed a year of development when it launched. and that's being kind. as unfinished as it was, there's no way it's "finished" yet, or even passably decent.

expansion, my ass. they just save up patches and call it an expansion? totally retarded. especially when they start shoving features into the game that were advertised to be there at launch, and still don't manage to add all of the other features that those "new" features needed to work properly. like caravans. what's the point with such an ass broken resource system? hell, i'm reluctant to even call it a "system".

from what i've heard the servers are dead, and the "SURGE" of new people is nominal at best. worse than the first "expansion" that wasn't an expansion, which was already quite small.

Epic. That pretty much sums it up for me. Ive just been playing Medieval Total War II and CoD 4 and getting pretty bored. I guess the Messiah of all MMOs will never come to consume all of my time, make me stop bathing, and ruin all of my personal relationships. :stabbed:

I'm really not up to AFK macroing until a 6 hour seige pops up that involves 2 hours travelling, 3 hours waiting 10 minutes fighting and 50 minutes logging back in from a crash.
