Latest old news:

Apparently, the block system is bugged, everyone has block A (one). There's is a easy way to check if you actually have a spot though.

Since all LE have beta A access, you'll get invited to beta A if you bought one of those.

Also, since there were 2000 spots, and 1000 LEs, there's 1000 "regular" spots in beta A. If your order number is between 50000 and 51000 you have a beta A spot.

51001 - 53000 > Beta B

I think it's like that anyway. But I also heard something about LEs having the same order number as normal boxes... Which means some of the numbers might be LEs as well. I'm not sure about this though, so don't count on it.

Right, well one of mine is like 50900 and the other is like 51400. So atleast one of them is block A, if not both.

Because my payment aparently wouldn't go through. So I thought maybe it's because the name on the MO account is different to the name on the credit card. So I made a new account with matching details for the MO account and the credit card. It kept telling me this payment couldn't go through either. So a good 5 minutes after I gave up i got to invoices, one for each account. FAIL.

I'm going to wait for two things before I get the game.

1) Digital Download is available for purchase and I know how much it's going to cost me.

2) You guys that are already in, give us a feed on how the Developers handle the beta testing and the feedback from it.
--2a) I want to know if the Devs actually pay attention to the community. Even if they do not do what everyone tells them to do, if they reply in a professional manor (Ban/Delete Trolls, Honest/Real considerate replys to popular suggestion threads)
--2b) If they implement the in game mechanics as how they say they will, if not or if something is not ready they give a plausible reason as well as keeping the community updated on a rough basis. Doesn't have to be a good reason, just one that makes sense and doesn't have to be regular updates, just keep the community informed.

Those'll be the points that really decides if I bother with the game or not.
The differences between a Gaming Company and a bunch of gay hicks too busy fucking their brother's or getting the cuntfungus out of their mouths.

Easy to fix, just get one of those big bubble things you see people in movies use to walk across water. Demand from you roommates or whoever you live with that if you can walk across water you get to be as loud as you damn well please. Proceed to walk across the the nearest pond. Lengthwise.

If that fails to work than just make sure you have a really big on of them, set up your computer inside it and play there. Insta-sound dampen equipment! Just make sure you have an air hole.

You can also line your walls with inner walls of toilet paper rolls. Tissues still on them.
You could also use old mattresses, but those are way more conspicuous that toilet paper, which if done one supper Cosco package at a time, no one notices.

None of those work tho if your worried about the sound traveling through the floor. Nothing to do about that but bribe your downstairs neighbors..

Tho, keep in mind any blood spilled will also stain everything is touches, so it's best to lay down a giant plastic tarp. All one piece, tapping trash bags together doesn't work.

We will actually finally be able to download the game and run it the 23rd after a few days of fucking hellishly slow speeds.

Then it will crash repeatedly or you'll get logged into a lagged out world where everyone is standing around looking at each others FFN penises.

After that, Block B will start, Block A people will give Block B people shit because the B people will be standing around looking at each others penises while block A actually tries some game feature that is horribly bugged but somewhat fun to exploit.

When Block C arrives, A and B blocks will be pro's at the buggy combat system and will wtfpwn C people, cutting off their penis, denying them the ability to truly enjoy one of the more quality aspects of the game.

Jesus christ. For the first 10% i was going so fast it said it would be done in an hour. When i got to ~20% it slowed down to 4 hours. 500 people and 5% later, it now says it will be 8 hours.

There is a really awesome bug where when people spawn in, the game thinks they are somewhere forbidden for some reason, and initializes their position, which happenes to be in some body of water under the world dubbed the "lake of sausages" due to the massive amount of naked people swimming around in it.

A majority of people end up in the lake, which apparently puts a lot of strain on the server, crashing it. They implemented a cap to prevent crashes every 10 minutes, until they could fix it. According to sebastian(lead info dude on the beta irc) they will put out a patch tomorrow(sweden time) to fix it, and significantly increase the cap, if not do away with it all together

The draw distance is very impressive. We set ours to 4,000,000 - or 4 times the default and it is very close to RL views.

The scenery is very nice for what is not even in yet, lets hope the gameplay follows suit.

On a side not, its so fucking funny how quick the MO community turn from what they called a "mature MMO group" to a bunch of whiny nerdraging dumbasses because an early technical beta is not at a perfect release state. THe MO forums are a complete mess right now...

This is why if I ever make an MMO, I'll ban forums, fanbois and whiners. Until the game is done. Then I'll ban everyone. It'll just be me and my perfect world.

On a slightly more related note, No way in hell I'm paying that much for a game I know diddly treefingers about.
It looks amazing, but I'm not gonna pay for the privilige of drowning in bugs, glitches and placeholder mechanics. Not such an absurd amount anyway.
