Nobody's been playing anything much lately, from what I understand.

I like comics, but I can't afford to invest in them usually. Right now I'm in the middle of Bone. I got the entire collection in that one big book. It's awesome.

Actually come to think of it, they are releasing Bone games that let you play through the real storyline.

Guild 2!!!!

Man, the Guild 2 sounded really fun and when you first start out the whole strategy of it all seems very overwhelming and extremely interesting, but within a couple of hours you can break it down to formulaic monotony. The first time I played it I had completely controlled the city government of my town, and owned all of the buildings necessary for the entire Patron's production queue, within the lifetime of my first dude who embezzled so much money we could have bought God.

Lots of cool features, but really poor design direction. I can't imagine how fun that game would be if it had more longevity to it.

The single biggest problem is that the AI is fucking retarded. That kind of strategy game requires a cunning AI, and even with that it wouldn't be very fun after a couple of hours. Forget about multiplayer too.
