So after finally getting the c drive set up so i can finsih updating the game my brothers router has crapped out.

I was able to play just fine on it before, it did a reboot and now i cant connect dick to the internet cept web browsers and trillian.

Fuckin soulseek, torrents, niggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggernigger... nothing connects. Port forwarded... nothing.

He has a d-link router. Anyone else have one of those that knows how to fuck em? I just use linksys... but my router wont connect to the internet anymore, thank you lightning storm, FUCK.

Reset/unplug the router first, then see if you are getting an IP address. Could be a router side issue, and it just needs to reset, it could also be your ISP. If you aren't getting an IP, it is most likely an ISP issue. Run any disks they may have given you on your computer.

Also, as much as its annoying to say this, you'll do a much better job of solving your tech problems if you don't get frustrated. It clouds the mind (as it heals the body).

:cuss:EDIT: LULZ FUCK YOU ZONEALARM! so something in zone alarm was blocking me from getting out even tho it was never even tured on. Uninstalled it just seeing if that was the issue, and so far its working.

Update 2.55AM GMT
We’re bringing servers down to apply our first patch. This will also contain fixes to most of the issues that players have been facing. Servers should be back up as soon as the patch is verified and tested.

It's 8:11AM GMT right now and they're all fucking down so I don't think they're doing shit right now haha.

And this stupid thing has made all my text a urine yellow... Forum time is out of sync like niggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggernigger too

Okay, having the servers be down for so long before they have even completed their third day after official 'launch' is confusing. Trying to figure out why you would need to hide your PC in your car is even more so.
