So I reformatted awhile back and haven't used my mic since. Up to date driver, mic has worked on here before.

I can hear myself and sounds so I know the mic works just fine.

Because niggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggernigger is coming out in a few hours it decides to not want to work. The sound never transmits to the computer.

Ive been through all the volume settings, checked mute buttons/switches. Ive googled the hell out of it and havent been able to figure it out yet.

Any help would be awesome right now so I can pass out for a few hours.

Thanks

Ok, issue I have seen.

Open volume control, this should show playback options. make sure mic is muted.

Then go to options, Properties. Select Recording, make sure microphone is selected. On this page, make sure the box is checked, not unchecked. I keep thinking it means Mute but it makes sure it's your Input.

Got it going now, only thing is I cant get my voice really loud, running off onboard sound card.
