Well, I told myself I wouldn't make any clan or alliance choices before beta, but it's here now and release is a few weeks away and having a clan from the start would be a pretty big advantage. A clan that contains most of the worthwhile forumfallers would be an even bigger advantage, as it doesn't matter how good you are at the game, just how awesome you can make yourself sound on the forums.
I think most of the people here should have some idea of who I am superficially, but I don't think I've ever really played a game with anyone here (other than a few games of age of chivalry with red and a few other beggars) so I might as well post some history.
I started playing MMOs when I was 12 or 13 with SWG, CU came and made the game suck major cock (and most of my friends quit) so I went over to EQ2, played that for a few years but it got boring and my guild died, due to centralization of raiding on the server there were only three guilds left capable of hitting equal or higher level zones. Two of them were full of douchebags and the other already had a couple of Brigands. I considered rerolling on PvP but if you played EQ2 you'd know how godawful and imbalanced PvP was, mages got brutally raped by scouts, Brigands were easymode especially considering I'd already been playing one for about two years so I knew all of the tricks of the trade, got bored by lv30.
I also played planetside on and off because I had a station account so I got it for free anyways played NC on Markov with the Planeswalkers then the Devil Dogs, Surly duped me into thinking Vanguard wouldn't be a complete piece of shit so I tried that out too, lasted a few weeks before I canceled my station sub.
I haven't picked up a MMO since, mostly been playing CSS, TF2, some DotA, among other stuff. My old computer got owned last November by a dying power supply so I just bought a brand new one to celebrate my 18th birthday, phenom II with an ATI 4870 1gig video card, 4gigs of RAM. It's beastly to say the least.
