Pleasure to meet you all. I'm new to niggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggernigger and everything I've seen looks awesome. I can't wait. I'm interested in playing a crafting character and working with other responsible players who are concerned with helping build a community and those in it.... and if that can been done in a slovenly inebriated fashion all the better.
Questions for the DBC:
Will the DBC be concerned with war making, city sieging, or large scale clan competition?
What does the DBC offer its members and what does it offer the community it lives in?
Have you ever woken up in a strange place wearing a dress?

1. As the DBC, I'd say more guerrrilla warfare than large scale. But with Hyperion, it's more than likely we'd be tied up with some huge battles
2. Stench and incredible body odour. Both for its members and the community it lives in.
3. Not with a dress, but i once woke up drunk in a supermarket playarea on the slide. I was being prodded by the cleaner and told that i can't sleep there because i was scaring the kids.
Welcome.

Will the DBC be concerned with war making, city sieging, or large scale clan competition?
We will be, but mostly because of our association with Society of the Anvil and Hyperion. I'm of the belief that most of the action is going to be taking place on a smaller scale, since sieges will be expensive and risky. So we're more geared towards skirmishes than full scale war, but we're capable of rising to the occasion.
What does the DBC offer its members and what does it offer the community it lives in?
I like to give my members a great deal of freedom, and I have the luxury to that because of the quality of our membership. For me, the best thing about being a member is logging on to Vent and having a blast screwing around with good friends who just so happen to be competitive gamers.
As far as the community goes, we intend to act as a vigilante street gang once the game goes live. Noobs, crafters, lone travelers and anyone unfortunate enough to get ganked will all be under our protection as we police the streets and crossroads of the world. And those who don't need our help, will be entertained by our infamous mooching skills as they fork out large amounts of cash in the spirit of kind supplication.
Have you ever woken up in a strange place wearing a dress?
Hrmmm... well every time I've woken up in a strange place, I was buck-ass naked. I usually flee once I notice the pool of blood, so I can't say if there ever was a dress laying around anywhere or not.

Quick follow up questions:
What does the DBC offer in support for its crafters?
DBC crafters (or Patrons as we call them) enjoy full time protection, low taxes, and a laissez-faire style of government. We don't have a ranking system, so crafters have the same status and rights as any other member in the clan.
I also think crafters will be invaluable in this game. So, if some guy attempts to PK a DBC crafter, I'll declare a fatwah and send a legion of bloodthirsty bums after every person within 8 degrees of assocation to him. We'll eat their pets, kill their parents, and throw their children off a bridge in a drunken rage.
and
Does the DBC plan on having/fighting for its own city?
We do, but we don't have a lot of info on what owning a city entails. If it's too much of a hassle, we can always claim a cluster of housing spots and establish that as our territory.
