Here goes anyway. I've been looking around here, read some forumfall posts by some of your very active forum spammers. I find you people to be some of the least objectionable on those boards so i guess i must already be drunk. And i tend to be guild-less usually, so i'm always a beggar. There you go, i'm perfect.

I dropped in an application already. Peruse at your leisure, it's not as if there's any rush with niggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggernigger. Right now the only multiplayer game i play regularly is Savage 2, though i do have my LOTRO and EVE subscriptions active for a bit longer. I don't know if there'll be any opportunity for you to see how badly you can beat me.

It's good. Not great, but good. It doesn't fail miserably in any one aspect. The tech tree is very limited, but functional, commander mode is powerful without making the team too dependent on it. Melee combat is a rock / paper / scissors deal, and there's always a problem with paper not quite covering rock etc., but it's manageable. They did do a nice job of balancing ranged vs. melee combat.

Usually the main problem is getting an evenly-matched game going. The game tracks stats, which leads to stat-whoring. The devs are pretty set against that sort of thing, but they painted themselves into a corner and can't remove the feature, so any improvement in that regard is painfully gradual.

I played the game for a while and that is a perfect description. It is deffinatly worth trying out for a while in my opinon.

No, this name is the same i've used in games since i was 12 years old or so. The only variation came in changing it from 'Werewolf' to 'Werewolfe' a few years back. I find it fits me well enough. Even in LOTRO with its naming restrictions i was 'Fenrion Werewolfe', or 'Lycanid Werewolfe', or 'Cayn Werewolfe'.
I'm also big on accountability in online games, so if you think i was the guy insulting your mother in counterstrike 6 years ago, go ahead and challenge me on it.

As for getting called a furry, heh, there were several running gags in my old WoW guild about all us druids being emo furries. I think i'm starting to be typecast.

LOTRO's a WoW clone in terms of gameplay. As a game, it deserves to be thrown in a deep, dark pit along with WoW, SWG or Lineage and repeatedly nuked.

However.... Middle-Earth.
I couldn't resist it. And in all honesty, those first 20 or so levels, just wandering through the Shire or elvish ruins, getting lost in the Old Forest, all that was very nicely done. They had intelligent people designing the maps and some of the low-level quests, and they had a good feel for that fantasy world.

By this time next year i will probably have re-activated my subscription for another month just so i can run around delivering pies in the shire. And i'll wind up playing for just a few days before cancelling again.
