I got permission from Surly (granted I got him drunk first) to try and start a "Anvil Society" clan in Resistance: Fall of Man (PS3 game for those who don't know).
If anyone has a PS3 (especially if you have R:FOM) and would like some information, let me know.
This game has a huge online following (try to find other PS3 games with ANYTHING like this), with clan competitions all over the place. I've been playing for about 2 months and have really enjoyed it, but haven't found a clan that wasn't full of drama queens. I figured dwarves could handle shit better.
I also figured it'd be a nice change... a game with the goal of killing the other team.

First game will be Motorstorm for my brother already pre-ordered that. Sadly I won't have the money to buy Resistance right away. Maybe I can convince my brother to buy it. I'm sure he wants an ego-shooter as soon as possible, he's one of the biggest gore freaks I know.

Besides, there's no online mode is there? Fucking sucks, I have no friends around with a 360 or an interest in console gaming.

so get a ps3, then, and join me in the resistance. the online play for this game is community driven. louts of clout to be won and lost in this game, imo.

we'll see. there's a huge online following for this game. 50k are registered on the official forums, with a low of about 150 logged on at any time.

there's a version of linux that you can use on your PS3, and then you have a computer attached to your tv.
even with the standard OS, it's close to a computer. there are supposed to be a lot of good updates coming soon, as well.
