Hello all!

The name's Amade, Amade Wossname in full. I've just applied via the Society's site and am hopeful for an acceptance. In the meantime I reckoned I should introduce myself here to everyone =)

I'm more or less a casual gamer (or usually start off as one). I've been in various MMOG's, mostly free and obscure, and for the most part I couldn't stick with them because of either the (largely immature) community or simply because it features a generic Korean-MMOG gameplay. Well, I'm sick of all Korean-style MMOGs by now :P

The two longest games I've stuck with is DiscworldMUD (roleplayed mostly), and Regnum Online (large scale realm vs realm PvP). Others I've played are really not worth mentioning here. On the scale of experience I'd say I'm pretty new since I arrived late to the world off MMOGs, having shunned them completely until after I started working for myself. After that I picked things up fairly quickly.

That's about it for now. I hope I'll have a great time with you guys in the Society soon ;)

Krow's right, you've got a nice skill. Good luck with the app and hold on tight. Your post is about to be derailed!

I always thought it would be really cool to work out all the muscles on your face until they got really ripped and bulbous, and walk around making looks at people that would make them start lactating sour milk.

I've actually got quite strong jaw muscles. I used to eat a lot of chewie sweets when my parents weren't looking so I've got quite a nice bite.

Hey all,

Much thanks Atnas, and thanks everyone for the welcome! And I'm glad some of you like my works too :)

I know beta ain't out yet, but I'll try to contribute what I can one way or another or at the very least hang around the forum and generally have fun and stay active.

Hey, I didn't see any pictures of ripped facial muscles. Where are they?

Malaysia has its high-tech hot-spots with international companies and I assume also with qualifying high-schools and universities. I assume he works for such a company or is going to work for one. Or maybe he's just a geek.

Mmm, nah... I mean, we do have all that stuff you mention but English is just something the government stresses on a lot in all levels of education. Doesn't matter where you're going to work but I have to admit getting a job in any sector is a lot easier if you're proficient in English.

My proficiency in English is more or less just another by-product of globalisation :P

Still seems to be more than just the English you learn at school. I assume it must be your geekiness (-> MMOs). Many countries get their students to learn English nowadays, yet those mostly speak far worse English than you seem to be able to.

LOL!

I might be a geek, who knows, but I certainly didn't learn English off MMOs. Else I'd be typing in l33ty broken Manglish like most gaming youths in my country do. And I swear your eyes will bleed from trying to read the chats in local MMOs ;-)

Games, books and videos helped my english a lot! Most people in Sweden can speak english but everyone has a swedish accent (I'm no exception, it seems).

Looking back on that, I should've drawn it -much- larger.

I never finished this because I didn't find that to be a necessary option.
