Good day everyone,
I've been wandering around the forums for a little while trying get a feel for the people in the Society and finally decided to put my application in. I love how organized everything is here and yet how everyone can still have a lot of fun hanging out and shooting the shit. I wanted to try and join now before niggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggerniggernigger comes out so that I can get the chance of knowing everyone before I meet them in game.
A little bit about myself:
My name's Bruce. I lived in Orlando, Fl for just under 3 years now after having moved from Jacksonville, NC where I was stationed in the Marine Corps. I'm 25yrs old, married no kids. I love just about every type of game out there except for turn based unless it's a board game. I'm a graphic artist currently doing free lance work for local bands designing album covers, flyers, t-shirts... that sort of thing, but no other real job to speak of. I need to get one of those some day, but for right now I'm just enjoying working on my own schedule and playing games.
I'm really stuck in FPS's right now after giving my WoW account up a year or so ago. That was the second time I gave up the game but decided to give it another try when the expansion came out. Rolled a new character got him to 70 and then realized it was the same old crap with a new look. Been burnt out of MMO's for a while after that but looks like DFO can change that and am really looking forward to it.
Anyways, I'm hoping I get accepted, but either way I'll see you guys around at some point.
Oh and as for my character name, I'm not sure yet which is why it's just Obsidian for now. I'm waiting to see how they do it, if they use the last name deal and if it's a SCS or SRS and that whole debate.
