Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War. Plus the add-ons. The original game without the add-ons is, in multiplayer games, pretty imbalanced and not much fun.

Totally addicted to WiC despite my prediction it would be meh. Myth 2 has a great singleplayer campaign. Super cool dwarves.

WiC is pretty meh, but it's still a little bit fun in it. At least I can play it on my comp.

Yeah it's nothing spectacular (apart from the graphics, but who cares about RTS graphics when you're zoomed out all the time anyway? It's beatiful the same way Homeworld was) apart from the quick fix. Drop in games, round that last ~15 minutes. In Starcraft you had to search several minutes for a good game and then either get rushed the first 3 minutes or win by rushing the first 3 minutes, if you were really lucky you'd have an even game with some good fighting and that round would last like 40 minutes. Even though not all fights are good in WiC it's full strength fighting most of the time. Try the demo at least.

But if you're looking for a good singleplayer RTS go for Myth 2: Soulblighter. Awesome storyline, nice graphics (for its time). Tactics matter.

Company of heroes is decent as well, and AoE: Rise of rome is timeless.

ordering it tonight actually

blew out the graphics card on my old one, so decided i'll order a whole new comp along with the replacement for the old one. Prolly won't go any higher than a 6 series for the old one, but the new one is top of the line.

But in the meantime I've been playing wc3:tft on the family upstairs computer, hopping between my two accounts of east and west coast.

I also play wc3:roc (no expansion) from time to time on east coast under the alias of: WillYouBeMyBF 2-2 (Human)

But I heard you chumps wandered into UOHybrid, that's a definate no-no, you need to all come and play divinity, which is where I will be starting.

Warcraft 3 is pretty cool too, but only for DOTA. Hopefully the Starcraft 2 info that I read wasn't bluffing about a possibility for DOTA in SC2.

Those were surprisingly good. I liked how infantry could take over all sorts of weapons and then be awesome.
