Just watched this Korean film. It was pretty bad ass.

Synopsis is a business man is kidnapped for 15 years, he gets free and then goes looking for revenge.

The ending has a pretty sweet twist to it, but I figured it out before hand, so take that information as you will.

Anyway...there's a pretty cool fight scene in it.

If you like Azn films..this is a goody me thinks.

I have it on DVD, I didn't really like the ending. The subject matter made it a little uncomfortable to share with people already, but that didn't bother me so much... the whole motivation seemed a little weird to me. Why would a guy spend his entire life for that kind of revenge when all he did was mention it to his buddy and say "don't tell anyone or I'll kill you!" It didn't make any sense. I chalk it up to culture differences, because I really couldn't believe that being enough motivation for some one to devote their life to revenge, and then kill their self.

Oh, but the fight scene where he's fighting his way out of that building with the hammer was probably one of the best I've ever seen. So it remains memorable for that.

A much, much better series of films from Asia (China/Hong Kong in particular) was Infernal Affairs. China makes a lot of really good movies these days, I wish they'd translate more of them to English.
